This is the era of Apps. Apps in iOS, Android or Windows.
Either you are using a JAVA platform mobile phone or Symbian; you are trapped in the world of Apps these days.

You commit it or not, you are using it every second of your life. Messaging: where you chat with your friends, Call: where you talk to your friends and relatives. They are nothing but one of the Apps.

Its a normal tendency of humans beings that they want to get relief in all the involvements they involve themselves. They will one of the most friendly apps out of the similar ones.
Now the question is Are you 100% satisfied with that App?

Yes? - Go on! :)
No? OK, here comes the point.
Why don't you make your own App?
Its a wonderful idea.

If you have not seen the video at the home page of http://www.code.org/, then watch this.

Every person must watch this video.

Making an App in a Windows platform, or in Android platform or in any other ones, merely needs a few basic knowledge. First, you must be aware about the SDK(Software Development Kit). All that you need is the environment where you can write codes for the apps. And the only prerequisite is you must be a good algorithm developer. So, after setting up the environment, you just have give a language to your algorithms along the SDK API's. And here's the App is published.

Well, what if you a get a free Nokia Lumia 920, for your App? You read it correctly. Yes, Microsoft is giving away free Nokia Lumia  920 to the developer for their Apps. They are also paying you for your Apps in case you set some charges for your App in the Store.

So, common. Lets do something different and make the world realize about your most precise algorithms.

IPv4 or 6

What if you don’t have any Source and Destination Address to send greetings to the loved ones…? Just imagine several phones are connected to a single line, but we get incoming calls to the right phone.

Internet Protocol (IP) is the principal communications protocol use for relaying datagrams. It is responsible for routing packets across network boundaries. 166.70.10.23 is an example of such addresses.

The first major version of IP, now referred to as Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4), which uses 32-bit addresses have nearly 4,294,967,296 hosts, is the dominant protocol of the Internet, although the successor, Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) is in active, which uses 128-bit addresses ~1039  and is growing deployment worldwide.

Well, the estimated population of the world is 6,606,971,659, (fig. 2008), out of which 1,319,872,109 are expected Internet users, which says penetration rate is 20.0%. Some surveys showed that the penetration rate in Asia was 13.7%, Europe 43.4%, 71.7% in North America, Australia 57.1%, and Africa 4.7%. The 32-bit address system gives a penetration rate of just 16.0%.

Was there a need for some new ways of addressing the devices…? The growth of Internet has created a need for more addresses than are possible with IPv4. IPv6 addressing system which uses 128-bit address scaling to 340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456 hosts.  Woo…! Awesome.

This expansion allows for many more devices and users on the internet as well as extra flexibility in allocating addresses and efficiency for routing traffic. It also eliminates the primary need for network address translation (NAT), which gained widespread deployment as an effort to alleviate IPv4 address exhaustion.

BENEFITS:

  • Simplifies Aspects of address assignment, network renumbering and router announcements.
  • Subnet size has been standardized by fixing the size of the host identifier portion, which facilitates automatic mechanism to form host-identifier.
  • Integrated Network Security.
    • Payload Encryption.
    • Authentication of the Source of the Communication.
  • Enhanced mobility mechanism and more efficient.

The next generation of Internet Protocol will enable the expansion of internet to all people and appliances on Earth.

How about NOPA?

“We are joining the Internet-wide protest against SOPA/PIPA today on
Jan 18th by shutting down our websites. NOPA to SOPA & PIPA”.
-‘Minecraft’.

Stop Online Piracy Act, a US bill by Lamar S. Smith, a US Representative; tend to expand US law enforcement’s ability to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods. The law would expand existing criminal laws to include unauthorized streaming of copyright material, imposing a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

“Imagine a World Without Free Knowledge.”
-‘Wikipedia’.

Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act, introduced by Senator Patrick Leahy on May 12, 2011, is a proposed law with the stated goal of giving the US Government and copyright holders additional tools to curb access to “rogue websites dedicated to infringing or counterfeit goods”, especially those registered outside the US.

Well, SOPA caused a lot of negative feedback in the GAMING COMMUNITY. The developer of popular independent game MineCraft, Sweden-based Mojang was scheduled to shut down the company’s website and the MineCraft.net indefinitely starting January 18.

PROTEST:
Wikipedia (English), joined thousands of other web sites to protest against SOPA and PIPA. About 6000 other websites joined this protest separately. They blacked out their websites for 24 hours to raise public awareness and to encourage them for their opinions that they must share with their elected representatives.

RESULT:
Lamar postponed his communities hearing of the bill. But, he indicated that work would forward in refining the bills. In the US and abroad legislators and big media are embracing censorship and civil liberties on free knowledge and an open Internet. Though the works have been delayed, but it’s not yet stopped. Protest against it. Yet, it’s required to keep pressure up on both DOGS! SPREAD AWARENESS.
